Directory Service Issue upon Reboot / Startup

The service specified is stuck in the start pending state. The service failed to indicate that it is making progress within the time period specified in its last status message.

There may be other services that are powering on system bootup and thus delaying the services from starting as expected. You may try a Delayed start on the QV services to allow time for the OS to full boot.

Automatic (Delayed Start) specifies that a service should be started approximately 2 minutes after the system has completed starting the operating system.

· The Automatic (Delayed Start) startup type is preferred over the Automatic startup type because it helps reduce the effect on the system’s overall boot performance.
